Has anyone tried to fix one? What did you do?

It was just a test but seems to have worked ! I know Shellac isn't enhancement strength but with its flexibility and the fact this was a short nail, this is what I came up with.

One of the hair dressers I work with is an X nail biter. She's had Red Baroness Shellac on for 10 days now and she is loving it but she managed to break a nail and was getting her clients' hair stuck in it. lol
She asked me to fix it. I decided to try something diffrent so I did the normal PEP for Shellac and used self adhesive fiber glass and Shellac. I didnt think it would hold for long but it's been 3 days and she's done alot of clients and its still perfect! Later I did think it would have also maybe worked if I had used Dashing Diva wrap, what do you all think?

You just have to try these things. No guarantees. I'm sure technicians will come up with all sorts of ideas that will work if nails are kept short and sweet!! If it works then it works!! Go for it.

Just beware that Shellac is not an enhancement product and does not purport to be an enhancement product.

Could someone tell me what PEP stands for, please? I realise it's about prep, but I've seen it several times recently and would just like to know. :o

When using Shellac there is no need to PREP the nail, in other words, no need to remove surface shine form the nail plate by buffing at all.

So when using CND Shellac we PEP (which is only to remove the cuticle from the nail plate (Perform a mini manicure) and then Eliminate and Purify the nail plate surface with ScrubFresh. simplezzzzzz!

Ah, thank you! :D

I was meaning to add the photos last night but it totally slipped my mind !
PEP nail with maybe a little to much fiber glass mesh (we wear both right in beetween our clients )
