We are doing swarovski toes in our salon for summer and were looking to find a stockist with a good price?? also we have been advised that rinestones dull rather than stay glossy!! is this correct????? taXXX

Please don't take this the wrong way but if you use the search facility on this site you will find tons & tons of threads giving you all the information you could want about crystal pedicures and swarovski crystals from where to buy the crystals to how people apply them, photos of peoples work and troubleshooting the sparkle loss.

I did the search before writing this post! I couldn't find what I was looking for as they all gave rhinestone links which is y am asking for opinions on whether they dull x

Most of the crystal pedicure threads have a mention of some kind or another of crystals dulling or not when covered or not and what methods work or not to keep sparkle and stick the crystals solid:

And there are many, many more threads as I said before.

Please note that rhinestones and crystals are different things. Rhinestones are plasticy cheap stones and WILL dull if anything is put over them.
Swarovski crystals are of a much higher quality and real crystal so even if something is put over them they are still sparkly, they may loose some sparkle by being covered but they don't go dull like rhinestones.

WOW.. My own ignorance never ceases to amaze me ...

Nail Art Crystals.. I hadnt even realised they existed ! What a right imbecile I am.. Ive only ever bought & used rhinestones... Hoping Im not the only one searching these threads you've talked about too :)

Hi

We stock the full colour and size range of Swarovski crystals in both wholesale and small retail packs. The most popular size for manicures and pedicures is SS5 (1.8mm). We also stock a storage box which has little transparent storage pots contained within it with so you can display the array of colours and let your client make their colour choice.

I get my Swarovski crystals from scattercrystals. They never dull and stay lovely and sparkly - they also sell them in large factory packs (found them to be the best price too)

Stephan Arnold is where I buy mine from. About £5 per factory pack cheaper than Scatter Crystals xx

hi
This question was asked but I didn't notice an answer.

How many crystals do you need to do a service?

I like the look of the big toe with crystal and minx or sog on the other toes,

So how many crystals would you need on the big toe, and how many if you did it on all toes?
Thanks
Abba

I also use scatter crystals for my swarovski crystal pedicures they are really good value.

Rhinestones do not have the same sparkle and obviously its not a Swarovski Pedicure without Swarovski crystals :)

Happy shopping!

Www.beads&crystals.co.uk I have been using this site to get Swarovski crystals on which we have used in our salon for 4 years now! It's about 35.00 for 1440 crystals they don't come off? Don't loose their shine? We put them along the edge if the cuticle at the bottom & charge 7.00 extra? Everyone loves them.
Hope this helps you

Here is a thread discussing crystal amounts for just big toes and full crystal pedicure:
