Hiya
anyone see them selling rio acrylic nail sets for 20pound on ideal world tv today?! o dear!! they were saying how easy it is to do your self and not to go and pay when u can do it yourself. they were putting the tips on then painting the reisen(i think) on the nail then dipping the whole nail into the pot of acrylic powder!! tapping the excess of then painting back over with the resin then spraying the activator!! any opinions?

I think it could be a great way to get new clients when all the poor saps who make an unholy mess of it need to get their disasters fixed by a professional!

I didn't see it but that sounds like what I have seen described in here for tip and dip systems?

They are always selling them on there. Its a regular thing and the woman that demonstrates. Keeps telling everyone how much money you can save. Yes you can save, but save it for the training you need to do nails in the first place.

now they have a nail art kit on, a nice little stamp that does the design for you!! i just think its undermining all the training and hard, artistic work you nail techs put in

They sell them in argos and they aslo sell acrylic / gel kits aswell ..........its bad but they let them do it x

hey hey i bet they just look super duper when there done lol

i seen them a while ago on a sky shopping channel, can't remember which one, they were doing a demo and the tech was saying how easy it us and how salon nail techs just make acrylic look hard and charge over the top!!!!!!
i seen the rio stamping kit too, i'm sure that looks like a copy of the konad stamping kit?
how shocking! x
