I bought one as part of a kit with all NSI bits and bobs for £60 off ebay before i started my acrylics course.
Last night we were shown hollywood gel toes, had a go in college and they look fab!!

Now i have a load of gels to enable me to do them and all the bits needed but
Does anyone know if the Rio lamps are any good? If not do you know of any recommendations?
xx

Jane, the Rio lamp is a consumer item and not a professional one. It is essential for you to use the lamp that is a part of your system to effect a complete cure of the gel , which is vital ... in other words an nsi uv lamp in your case.

Uncured gel carries a huge risk of allergy.

Brill, thanks for that, do you know how much they are at all?

Ive been quoted £30 from pina parie who i did my training with. The next one up is £60. Does that sound about right?

I wouldn't know about the price of the nsi lamp hun. Best to contact nsi direct for that one.
