Obviously clients current hair is the first picture and second is the inspiration .
I was just pondering techniques. I was going to go for root stretch and some baby low lights and then tone the blonde down.
But I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or different techniques I could use?
I've not done this before so help is appreciated [emoji16] thank you.
I've only balayaged lightener up, not colour down lol [emoji85]

Apply your desired colour to the roots... then add your lowlights where you want them placed through the hair. As you section to do low lights comb you colour down from the roots. Its all visual and not a specific way of doing it I would say and then as the end add you toner for your blonde :)
