Maintained my nails today and thought i would try out going round, i thought they looked better than what i imagined.

Played about with some designs and decided upon this one shown. (Hand painted nail art)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks

The pic isn't clear, but I can see a few things:

I like the tiger stripes, and your smiles are pretty consistant, from what I can see. Also, the apex on the thumb looks good (can't see the others).

The problem most obvious to me is that these nails need some slimming down at the sidewalls. You've got kind of a round, bulby shape going on. File straight up and down with your abrasive on the sidewall with an eye to keeping both sides parallel to each other, and then adjust the round shape at the free edge. I also noticed that the tip on your thumb doesn't appear to be fitted properly, it doesn't reach all the way to the sidewall. This will be a weak spot as it grows out and you'll get cracking and breaking at the stress area. I can't tell how flush the product is at the cuticle, so I'll just mention that you want to make sure its, well, flush at the cuticle. :D

Keep practicing, you're doing great!

You've got nails slightly like mine, they fan out a little bit, half way up the side wall. Nightmare!

That's why I wear my nails oval but you should make them a little more oval, rather than rounded and they will look even better.

Great nail art. Well done.
