These are the pictures of the hair that Galina sent to me and my client has purchased hair direct from her. I found this supplier on Ebay and she was recommended by a hairdresser who uses russian hair all the time.

My story is just the same! I ordered a couple months ago supposingly Russian hair form this evil woman and got asian or indian with some synthetic hair in it.
But i found a good supplier after all, True Russian hair by Russmarket is what they are called. I am on good terms with them now and i am more than satisfied with their hair. They sell what they offer. So good luck to everyone!

I think everybody has different experiences with different suppliers. The hair I definetly received was Russian, its absolutely gorgeous and I fitted it in my clients hair last night for a second time. The quality of the hair is so fantastic that the hair can be fitted more times in the future.

I just found another supplier in Liverpool who sells russian hair so am going to make an appointment to go and have a look and discuss prices with them etc. I will report back with my findings. If anyone wants the details to this I have linked the website at bottom.

Hi, I have never bought hair loose to use before, I always go for pre-tipped. How many grams would you use for an average thickness full head?

I have never used Russian hair before, there was a big deal about the legality of it a few year back and the ethical sourcing, what's difference between that and Asian hair?

I use Russian hair a lot. It is a million miles away from Asian in terms of quality. It is much finer and better texture to use on European women. Polish hair is beautiful too and I use that mainly for the mid colours. Generally the hair is virgin, and as the cuticle is perfect, it stays in really well. For a full head of 16 inch, I would buy about 150grms.
Genuine hair is really expensive, if someone is flogging it for fifty quid or so, it's not real. Hair for a full head in genuine Russian virgin will be at least a couple of hundred.

Hi, yes I too agree with Persianista about Pure Russian hair it is very beautiful it is lightweight and each individual hair is finer in texture than Asian hair but it's also very strong hair naturally shiny and usually has natural movement in it , it needs hardly any special care other than a good shampoo and conditioner on the mid lengths and ends and it will lasts for years
I cant explain it but its the type of hair that you makes you want to reach out and touch it , its like spun silk :lol:

I usually use around 100 grams for 14 inch and more if they want longer hair ,
a couple of hundred for this hair is really a very good price :hug: x minky

I ideally would like a company that will custom colour the hair to match a sample. Does such a company exist in the UK? Alot of the Russian hair suppliers seem to be based abroad, and without reccomendation, this can be a risky business. Any suggestions would be fab!!
