Did you hear Oliver Postgate died? He was the creator of many programmes that brought me up! Bagpuss, The Clangers, Noggin the Nog, Ivor the Engine, and probably many more. I absolutely loved especially the Clangers and Bagpuss, I got one of each even now! Would love a Soup Dragon though:green:

Thanks Mr Postgate for all you did for Childrens TV! Fond memories. Rest in peace:hug:

Yes I heard that too. . . creator of my namesake from Pogles Wood - do you remember that one? Mr and Mrs Pogle, Pippin and Tog? the Magic Flower and the Witch?
Another Geek ( I think it was Valencia Nails ) sent me a link to a Pogles Wood website as she vaguely remembered it too. Guess we must all be about the same age!

Ahh, it is a shame

I remember Ivor The Engine and Bagpuss the most. Don't really remember Pogles Wood or the others. RIP Mr. Postgate and long live your shed!

xx

He brought a lot of fun to a lot of children's lives, I reckon. I bought his autobiography (or it might have been a biography, can't remember now) a while back, and it came with a CD-rom with some episodes of all his programmes. It was just lovely to watch - it brought back a fair few memories.

Awww how sad...
