Hi,
I’ve just completed a set of nails with a stamped layer of Essie Liquorice. I’ve applied the Sally Hanson Double Duty (tip and base coat) and it has caused some colour bleed. The colour was completely dry. Any ideas why? Thanks!

Sally Hanson isn't a pro product so it's designed with the DIYer in mind, as such it needs to work no matter how its applied so it's super sticky to ensure it adheres to the nail. When applying over nail art, stamping, etc. you need to 'float' the product and not drag it or it will pull the colour away. Make sure you have plenty of product on your brush

Thank you, I didn’t think! I’m having acrylics myself next week so thought I’d go easy on my nails and just use the regular polish from before I did my training. I’ll look around on some of the threads to see which non gel polishes you guys recommend. Appreciate your help
