Hi can anyone advise the best way to go about working in a salon as a nail tech, I am currently working from home after being made redundant from my office job.
Or do you think working for myself would be better?
thanks :)

you've got a couple of options hun.
1. is to rent a table in a salon, either for a set amount or a commision % on what you take,
2. is to look for a job in a salon where you would get payed hourly but depending on where it is the hours may not be guaranteed
or 3. do you drive? you could always go mobile around the local area. get an ad in your local paper or do a leaflet drop and once you have a few clients you will find word of mouth will be a big benefit to you.

thats great thanks, i do drive i think ill leaflet drop tomorrow.

Thanks again i just really want to do nails full time ha.

if you've got the passion to do them full time then go for it girl, think a leaflet drop is a fab idea. have you already got your prices sorted? its best to put a couple prices at least on leaftlet and maybe a pic of nails youve done??
