Salon owners and experinced geeks please help

Hiya

I qualified back in Feb 08 I trained with the City of Sunderland College and used millenium prouducts l&p, I now use Fusion (as i find it better to work with).

Any how I would so love to work in a salon but dont think am good anoughjt and dont think I Will ever be if I dont get in Salon.

My Concerns are Infills, rebalance, and smiles my course did not cover smiles pink and whites just white tips, and we just briefly touched on infills.

In Jan I will be attending a cnd conversion course so hopefully this will help.

When I do friends and family nails they are always over the moon so thats good or are thay just being nice?


I had an interview today but did not attend cause if i got the job would be so emabarrassed whe it came to do someones infills it takes me forever and can never blend thje acyrlic so when i applied the new product over you can see the old product through

please help i so want to do nail and produce really good nails at that

i need someone to watch me and see where am going wrong

Hi, have you thought of doing a one to one course to help you with the bits that you think you need to work on. I know CND do these courses x x

How could you NOT have attended? Ah M8 you should have gone explained your weakness' then told them your strengths (eager to learn and improve, love the industry) You can only practice your technique and try to improve, if you had've gotten the job your employer would have had you on a trial or junior position and wouldnt ask you to do infills until you felt ready. Going into a salon is the perfect experience you need to ask questions and perfect your skills
