Does everyone think that free WiFi is a must for clients in a hair salon? I rent a chair and my salon currently does not allow clients to connect to the WiFi because it apparently isn’t very strong and it messes up the computer system when too many devices are connected to it. It does cause problems for clients who want to work from home on their laptop, or who want to just keep in touch with whoever is looking after their children etc (there is zero 3G/4G in the local area, even if you go outside the shop.) In the basement floor of the salon, there is also no phone signal. So clients are down there completely unable to contact the outside world, sitting having colours done for 4+ hours. Do you think it’s unreasonable for me to expect decent free customer WiFi to be part of what I’m paying rent for to my salon? I’m worried about losing clients because of this.

Honestly, it sounds like you‘re flogging a dead horse if you stay there.
