well, I started by trwling through the search box here and made a list of names that kept coming up over and over again. i then contacted them and asked for samples. I then narrowed it down and finally went with DIBI for our facial range. I can honestly say I am loving it and more importantly, so are our clients. if you would like their contact info for samples etc, please just get in touch.

As for tanning, i did the same and am going with fake bake for now, however, I do really like the suntana sample we got and may take it on as our second spray.

best of luck to you !

Hi,
I have today received a beautifully presented sample box from Susan Molyneaux, have you looked at their website?
I am in the same boat as you searching the previous messages for recommendations for a good skincare range to use. I have also requested samples from Eve Taylor and Priadara.
Good luck

Swiss Dermyl for facial range, and Sienna for tanning solutions......I dont think they give free saples tho but they deduct the price of your sample off your order.

Have a good look around and call up as many companies as possible...most reputable companies will offer free samples as a means to enable you to ***** them
Good luck

Most companies send out free samples so just email around and then test them out on a reliable friend or you'r self and see whats best. if you email celebritySecrets they will send u a free sample. [email protected]

hey, when i was starting out i rang arnd for samples, i then found la tanning who since then i have never tried anyone else, check out there site, was funny as claudia winkleman uses la tanning and my friend who lives in london sprayed her before she went on hels kitchen on monday :). id like some celeb clients, pref david beckham

All good companies will supply you with a pack and samples if your interested in taken on their line, a few companies only let certain salons run with their brand within a area - look around and see what everyone else is offering and what clients you want to attract. Ask yourself these questions - How much do I want to spend on a opening order, What sort of treatments do you enjoying doing - do the products offer these? Where is the training held?

Enjoy trying out all the great products out there!!!

Definitely have a good look around. I had a Collin rep visit me at home with every product they did which I was able to try during our discussion - very thorough discussion I have to say. She also left me with some samples to use at home myself. No hard sell to take on their line either which was nice.

Hope this helps.

Hi, FOR TANNING i would say do some research, I did some and would say that checking the ingredients in the tanning solution is essential, a lot of solutions have alcohol and parabens in them, these dry the skin and if not moisturised makes it flaky and when the tan starts to wear off will give a scaly effect which of course, is not good. at the moment i am using Tan Addict, it is an aloe based solution, all natural ingredients, so no dryness, it has a guide colour and also tan enhancers and vitamin a d and e in it. My customers love it, the colour is beautiful, i wish someone would have pointed me to it 5 years ago when i started tanning, but saying that i think theyve only been going about a year, they are in the north west and the staff are lovely, very helpful. they do training etc as well so worth checking out. yo can order free samples on their site - www.spray-tanz.co.uk. hope this helps.

Most companies will send out samples if you ask. Before you decide on a brand for either skin or tanning, you need to research your market first, what is already available in your area, what price are clients prepared to pay, (this will have a large effect on deciding how much YOU can spend on products), do you want to go organic, high tech etc. Only once you have answered these questions can you really begin to look at specific brands.

thanks ladies :)

Sienna don't charge for their samples, plus they will send you samples of their moisturiser, exfoliator etc..

Only Naturasun charged me for samples 18 pounds for 3 tiny bottles!!! I didn't go with them in the end!

I've got some Urban Tan and Tantric Max samples coming, trying to find a dark tan for my hairdresser clients :green:
