School fetes

Hi all

I thought i'd post this here as my question isn't really beauty related but am hoping you guys can help.

I have 4 school fates coming up where I will be providing glitter tattoos to children and donating a % to charity

As a little extra I have thought about having a little table for children to make little necklaces/bracelets with beads.
Ive found some gorgeous little beads but can seem to find the thread (if thats what you call it? :irked to put them on.

Does anyone know of anywhere to get these?

its elasticated thread or sometimes called magic thread

try ebay or google jewellery suppliers, most should stock it

i have some, but probably not enough for your purposes

i get most of my kids crafty bits from yellow moon, they also do tons of beads and coloured threads there too come to think of it

another idea for the older kids is charm bracelets, last year i made several bracelet blanks from lengths of chain - added the clasps myself, but you can buy read made then put bought loads of girly enamel charms from ebay - the kids then picked their own charms, some picked several and i also made a few mob phone charms for the mums, lol .. i sold out, and made more profit than the "adult" jewellery i was hoping to sell !

Can't be any help with the beads etc but just to say hope you will do well with the glitter tats. I have just started offering these as an add on at fetes and they are fab. We actually did more tats than nail art.All the boys wanted red glitter!
