Just wondering why Creative do not have a stand at the Scottish Beauty show, I was so disappointed :sad: not to see them last year but as this had been the first Scottish Beauty show at Edinburgh thought they would be here this year but I have received the list of exhibitors and Creative dont have a stand. I know they do the large shows down south and can understand that a lot of time/effort etc is put into these shows but I would love to see the demonstartions etc so are there any plans for them to do the Scottish one in the future?? The Glasgow one is no longertaking place in Sept so we will only have the one per year in Scotland so it would be great to see the best up here too!

Well my love, that is sweet of you but the reality is they have to get the numbers through the doors or the shows end up costing a bundle. In the past they just have not got the numbers there in sufficient quantity.

BUT, the good news is that Creative is located in Glasgow and you can go along any time and have a demonstration all to your self. I'm sure hey would love to see you there.

We will be going to the show to see what the organisers will do!! We had VERY conflicting points of view regarding this show last year and our Marketing Director who is also our show organiser etc NEVER exhibits within the infancy of a show (in otherwords, the first one) - we were discussing this just the other day and I actually said how disappointed our Scottish customers would be but we have come up with a remedy for this so PLEASE bear with me until I can tell you more!!

Just a thought, if more well known names attented then would visitor numbers not increase??? Hopefully having names like creative exhibiting would encourage more people to attend.

Cheers Mrs Geek and thank you for bringing some hope to the Scottish Nail Geeks!! It's so hard cos all you hear about is the shows down south and with having a small family I find it difficult getting someone to watch them, it's the travelling time that adds on the time so it's great when you get beauty shows coming north of the border. I agree also that the big names would encourage more people, I just know that the show was busy but felt the area the exhibitors were in was too small to accomodate the stands and all the people. I would love to see the creative guys in action so lets cross our fingers!

Hmm, all the companies that have regularly supported Scottish Events are all here: all the big nail companies etc

Plenty of choice. A lot of these companies even employ full time Scottish Representatives. ( Good question to ask if you go the show, shows how much they support Scotland )

It is interesting to look back and see how things have changed over he years.

15 years ago and every year after that for many years, Creative along with the other really well known Nail companies like OPI and Backscratchers, attended the Scotish Beauty Show when it was in Glasgow. When we polled customers at the show, everyone said that they just wouldn't go to England for a Beauty show.

Over the years, the numbers at the Glasgow show dwindled and dwindled and we found that we were seeing mega amounts of our customers from Scotland at the English shows!

Maybe things are swinging back again, but we found at the time, that it was the customers who were not supporting the show by not attending rather than the larger nail companies not supporting it.
