Sorry folks, a bit of a rubbish photo but I'm dying to know what you all think - I'm a newbie here. I did these on my own hand using NSI Spa aroma free. The index finger is older than the rest and due for an infill and there is make up on the little finger! So please don't think i'm rubbish! Not a great photo but lets see what you think - cringe:eek:

Well done for posting, it takes a bit of bravery

I think zone 3 melts into the cuticle/eponychium very nicely, which can be tricky :)

The smiles are crisp, but a little uneven, one side seems higher on each one. I think that can happen when doing your own, as its difficult to keep your hands & fingers where you want them.

The white is nice & solid,
but imo the white is far too long in comarison to the pink.
I reckon if you shortened them quite a bit they'd look better, more balanced.
Alternatively, you could have a play with some of nsi's coverage pinks to practice elongating the nail bed.

Thanks for the comments! I think you are right its tricky doing it on yourself and I always do the smile lines going up on one side on my own nails - but i'm a bit of a perfectionist with the smile lines on clients nails - its my favourite bit! I have been messing around with pink masque and trying to elongate the nailbeds of nail biters etc but do you find the strrength of the stress point is reduced if they are elongated to much? xxxx

i actually think uve done a good job i agree with whats been said although i think the smile line on the ring finger looks great.
i use nsi and if you want to try and extend the nail bed i would use purely pink masque rather pink masque as the purely pink is a much nicer colour i have some pics of nails ive done using it in my album and i think its more natural looking and flattering.x

Super duper, i shall try the purely pink instead of pink masque. What do you think of NSI, i've used the products for 6 years but had to start using spa aroma free as working within a hair salon and the good old smell of attraction was knocking the customers out (apparently) x

i love using nsi products i have done for the last 5 years i always felt felt that they were slightly behind other companies/brands with there products but in the last few months they have brought out lots of new products that certainly put them up there with the rest

I agree, Tracey Louise,
they seem to have really pulled their (manicured) finger out regarding new products, :)
& I love attraction very very much.
