I am using EZ Flow oval forms....I do my own nails and sometimes it is hard to get them on by myself....this is when 3 hands would be nice :eyesore: . What forms do you recommend, are there some tricks that I dont know about? Thanks

Is it normal for there to be a thin film of acrylic under the free edge of the natural nail when doing a sculpted nail :?: This makes me crazy to feel the ledge under the nail.

This usually happens due to a couple of things:

  1. There was an imperfect form fit (small gap bewtween plate and form)
  2. The form was weak and flimsy... when you began to apply product, it was pushed up under the free edge.
  3. Your mix was on the wet side... therefore it flowed under the free edge.

    This really sucks.
    1. You end up overexposing the Hyponychium with product (which can lead to Onycholysis or Ventral Pterygium)
    2. You get a free edge that is overly thick
    3. You get a ledge that has to grow out.

      What form are you using?
