Sculpted Tips

Hi all
I work parttime from home as a nail technician. I have the opportunity to do further training with Biosculpture to learn sculpted tips - do you recommend this?? I've only ever been asked by one client if I do them, but then if I advertise this might be a good idea for the run up to christmas - please give me your opinion on whether you feel it's a good idea.

All further education is a good idea! You must be able to offer anything a client requests. There are so many times when knowing how to sculpt makes your life as a technician so much easier.

I agree - go for it,

I am so glad I learned to sculpt. Sculpting can save you a lot of time and money, many of my clients prefer sculpts as they don't like the idea of tips and adhesive.

Sculpting is much quicker than tipping. If you learn sculpting you will find it of great benefit when doing nail repairs.

You will probably find that people aren't asking for it because they don't know about it. I sculpt most of the time and any new clients are amazed by it as they are used to just tips and nothing else. I like to be able to taylor my service to suit the client and their nails so they are getting the absolute best treatment for their needs. To do this I need to keep myself up to date on latest trends and innovations. I'm not where I want to be yet but i'm well on my way.

I sculpt all my acrylic and gel and I love it, I hate to use tips and only do if it is requested.
So yes do the training you wont look back, just think another certificate to display your great skills to clients.

Just to add (I love sculpting)...

perfect for all those little chips, or when the nails come back to you slightly out of shape or for those nails that are just too big / small to tip.

It sounds very encouraging. Yes I will add this to my service list when I have learned to master tipping first.
Can you sculpt nails on very short nail bited clients as well?

Yes you can sculpt on shorter nail beds butbyou can l make the nail bed look longer while you sculpt hth.... have a look on youtube for cnd perfect smile line and it will show you demo of sculpt ... xx
