(I have tried a search but can only find gel and tips advise)

I am about to do Claires nails, L&P sculpts in natural, however I do struggle with Claires nails.....they are soooo FLAT!!! I am talking uber flat, she has one thats flatter than the rest (its the one she sucks when she is tired....dont ask!!)
So to combat this I have been pinching as advised by the last salon I worked in but I am just wondering if there is anything else that would help?

(Oh and I have thought about popits but I need to get myself on a class to learn how to use them!! I have "had a go" and I kept having problems so have decided to leave it until I can get some quality 121 help!)

You do not have to pinch to make a flat nail look curved ... and you shouldn't do it either.

Good Product placement and brush technique is what adds curvature to a flat nail.

Place your bead and don't press it flat.

Guide a small amount of the bead to one edge of the nail and brush, leaving the bulk of the product in the middle of the nail.

Go back to the bead and guide a small amount of product to the other side of the nail and brush, leaving the bulk of the product in the middle of the nail.

Now smooth lightly over the surface from the edge to the centre and STOP then from the other edge to the centre and STOP.

Apply all your zones in the same way. Result beautifully curved nail with no painful pinching.

I've never pinched a nail in my life, and I never will.

I got a lovely private message today from Tonilee to say that she had used my method above and was VERY pleased with the results ... How nice was that? And not a painful 'pinch' was made.

Always a pleasure to be appreciated.
