My nails are fairly thin anyway, so I think the answer is I've been trying to get them too thin!

Sure... well... without the 'blending away zone 1 completely' thing. I aim to reduce the thickness of Zone 1 down to around the thickness of an unblended tip. Saying that... it really depends on how thick the nail is to begin with.
If you end up blending the edge away... it usually means that the angle of your abrasive was a tad too steep. Make it a lil more level.

Hi there,

I've been playing about with my nail forms and managed a nice set of pink and whites on myself.

When I came to do the rebalance at the weekend I thinned down zone 1, but thinned it down just a bit too much and filed the white free edge down to nothing. I put a form underneath and carried out my rebalance as normal.

My question is - is this the right way to go about rebalancing sculptured nails?

Any help would be much appreciated!
