Self employed check tool

Of interest to Salon Owners, employees, and chair renters: I’ve just gone back to this HMRC tool and put some possible scenarios through it. Quite interesting results!

Answer a few questions and it tells you whether the person is really self employed or actually an employee.

HMRC say they’ll accept its result should they come a knocking at your door, so you can print off the results to show you’ve complied (erm, or not).

Thanks that’s really useful not seen it before, completed it and everything ok as far as my SE stylist goes so that’s a relief!
