Hello Geeks,

I've been doing semi permanent makeup for some time now. The other day a client called me asking me if i could remove an older eyebrow tattoo and replace it with a new shape. I said that the older tattoo cannot be removed and she should wait for it to fade over time . Now as far as I know these tattoos could be removed by laser only and not always recommended when done on the face. Yet she insists that there is another way (not medical but cosmetic) for it to be removed (not covered up)
Just thought I'd double check with anyone who could have more info.

Thanks

Yes there is another way. It requires special training where the tech will go into the area using a removal product rather than pigment. they they scrape the old pigment out. It can scar and needs to be done by an expert. Tell her to call Finishing Touches. xx

thanks, i will. is the scarring very obvious, also can she have a new tattoo done over it? also is it using a similar needle to the one used for tattoo?

Yes she can and yes, the needles are the same. xxx

By the way, why does she want the removed? Colour? Shape? In the wrong place?

color and shape i think, i haven't seen her, it was only through the phone

She may not need them removed. You might be able to go over the top and create a new shape. If they've gone really blue, tattoo orange and they'll turn brown.

Thanks kim, one more question,,, is this removal method new?
thanks

No it's not. Let us know how it goes. xxx

thank you Pazzy .. I'm checking out the website. and yes it is exactly what I was asking about.

thanks
