My friend is going to a seventies party saturday nite and she wants me to do her nails for her. She said they had to be bright and very 'seventies'!!

Can anyone give me some ideas????!!!! Was it mainly swirls and pattterns in yellows, oranges etc???

Thanx :D

i am pushing this one up as i too am attending a seventies 'abba' theme hen party at the beginning of next month ...all ideas  greatfully received

thanks

the colour of the 70's was definatly purple!
also poular were yellow & orange.
circles & swirls were popular shapes.
think mary quant & pop art.
good luck & have a great time!

Can you 'water-marble'?
It can look really psychedellic ... ooh dunno if I spelt that right

Glo, those flowers are lovely on the orange background..... how do you do them? what is the colour of the nail enamel?

I like this...

Paint the nail white
Then take a bright orange and a bright yellow acrylic paint and place dots on the nail next to each other around the nail and then take your dotting tool and swirl them around until you have a groovy marble effect ....will try a post a pic if I can.
