Shall I wait or ring back?

i handed my CV and Cover letter into my local store about 2-3 hours ago today.

About 30 minutes ago I received a missed call but no voicemail.

The job advertisement has been up in window for about 1-2 weeks now.

Why would they ring me so quick?

Is it to offer me the job?

Is it tell me the jobs been taking?

They haven’t rang the house phone or emailed me either?

I rang them back but they didn’t reply back.

They didn’t leave me voicemail saying they will ring me back or anything.

It’s for a job at B&M store and I read that it takes 4 weeks for the application process.
