Shellac stays on too long!

A lady came to have a Shellac manicure two weeks ago and returned today for her next appointment. She had said on the phone that she wasn't sure if she wanted to be re-Shellacked or whether she wanted normal polish. When she came today I asked the question and she said that she would rather have normal polish because Shellac lasts too long and she doesn't like the growth line!!! I have one or two clients say that it doesn't last long enough (especially when rock climbing!!) but never one that says it lasts too long!!

I've found that clients that dislike the growth line should stick with french. Its much less noticable. If they like an all over polish, I always let them know that they can polish over the shellac.
