Yes this is really unfortunate but it always seems to happen. I don't think ebay really care one way or another. Not fair on the legitimate distributors though!

For me though, the thing that bugs me is that you lose custom! I asked a client to pick one of the colours so that i could order it in.. And she got back saying that she could buy a full bottle off eBay for just slightly more than the treatment off me.. I did explain though that she would have to buy a base & top coat too though.. So I may get ordering :S
Please do not worry about this. The client will need to buy the bottle of colour, base and top coat and either a Brisa or Shellac lamp!! Everyone here knows that you cannot cure it with an ordinary UV lamp so by the time she has bought all that stuff and put it on too thickly causing it to wrinkle and peel and all the other application problems she will have from having no experience, it will not have been worth her bothering in the first place.
Also, to everyone who is worried about these products being available to the general public, don't worry too much. Most clients will want a change of colour on a regular basis and the cost of the bottles of colour will put them off this. A bottle of nail polish is one thing but paying for a bottle of Shellac or Gelish or whatever will put them off. The other thing is that we have always been better at applying nail polish and have always had clients who come to us for regular manicures. I can't see this changing really. Maybe a couple of people will manage to get hold of the correct lamp and all the other bits and pieces and maybe even do their friends and family but they will be few and far between and will soon get tired of everyone wanting it done for free!!
