Short nails...

Hi everyone.. I've been doing acrylics for over 2 years and ive never had a problem, the only time I do is if my client has short nails or sometimes bitten, they never last or just lift! What can I do to stop this? The only other thing I could eventually do is a troubleshooting class xx
