Should I add Gelish along side Shellac?

I need some advice....

I currently use shellac, and have done since the launch at The Event, and I LOVE it! But I've had a few people wanting a wider colour range. I layer to get extra colour, but I have people wanting pastels and neons which I can't get from layering.
I am thinking of adding gelish to my treatment menu for the colour range, but I'm still so unsure as it is a gel polish instead of the power polish shellac is.

Really not sure what route to take, I feel very loyal to Shellac and CND too, so feel like a traitor for maybe adding something else!

Geeks help very much needed!!!

Thanks in advance x

Don't think you will be worrying CND if you offer different treatments, they won't think you are being dis-loyal. You need to be realistic, and if you can afford to offer another brand then Gelish is a great complimentary treatment to offer alongside Shellac and you can happily use your CND lamp for Gelish too.

I started with Shellac and added gelish last September and both are really popular. I have just added OPI Gelcolor too as I have clients who are OPI diehards, so I run 3 products alongside each other and love having the variety to offer people.

I started off with Shellac (and I still buy it) and last year also introduced Artistic Colour Gloss for the same reasons as you - I wanted more of a variety of colours.

Some clients prefer Shellac and some who have previously been Shellac clients are preferring ACG.

I think it's a great idea to offer Gelish & Shellac as you cover all bases.

I'm wondering exactly the same thing. I've got people asking for neons which you can't get with Shellac and Gelish states 21 days wear against Shellacs 14 days. I've lost a few regular clients recently due to them sinply not being able to have shellac done every two weeks, whereas Geliah may be be be a better option for them.

I understand it's fine to use scrubfresh instead of PH bond and also the CND lamp, so the layout shouldn't be huge.

Amongst other colours I keep getting asked if Shellac have got a neon pink or orange too!
Think I will wait for the next colour launch, (which there will hopefully be 12 colours & no more glitters) see what colours come out, then decide about going with Gelish!
