After visiting the beauty show & looking at the trolley cases I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone uses for their mobile storage? Another geek has just shown fab use of a fat max on another thread. I use these B&Q carry cases for all my nail stuff & love them - especially at fifteen pounds each they are so lightweight!

Would love to see others' set ups (cos I'm a geek!)xx

hi,
i have been looking for ideas and i love this, im going b&q today to buy two, thank you for sharing this
:smack:

I'm currently using a 2 tier toolbox from B&Q which was £20.
It was great to start with but I have so many things now I was looking at investing in a trolley/case but I'm quite liking the look of your bags!
Do you find them practical for packing and unpacking?

here you go Mrs my case I bought last week all packed up and looks like I could still do with summat bigger as no lamp in there rofl

That is a fab case Hun, where did you get it? I've got 1 large case for hairdressing n hair extensions another smaller one for my lash extensions n LVL treatments but need one for my nails and this is fab!! Was it expensive.. I lurve my cases cos I can just grab n go!! Lol
Xx

haha I was a spurr of the moment buy as we were leaving the beauty show in Birmingham last weekend and cost me £65 I've managed to get everything in except my lamp and if i didnt want to carry it it is on wheels. Only thing to spoil it is I rested on it to pull myself of the floor today and cracked the mirror inside so will have to put something over that to hold it lol

I have a salon now, but still do parties & this is my roo bag. it has a long handle & wheels so it can be pulled along. Also, you can fit a CND UV lamp in the front. The front of the bag zips off to become a backpack if you only need a small bag. There are lots of pockets & it comes with 3 smaller zip bags inside it. I love it

Oh this thread is fab! i only started mobile beauty last year but i have a hard beauty case and a cnd bucket bag which holds most of my gelish/fuison and my led lamp. Towels and nail pillow i use a proper clarins bag. But really need something easier to use so i havent got 3-4 different things to load in & out of the car. Need to save up fr a roo trolley or something similar. :)

Yes the B&Q ones are so easy to pack and unpack as they are open top (that's why I wanted one to fit the lamp in).

Caz yours looks brill-can't believe it doesn't fit the lamp!! We even talked about that at the show! I think it was a Roo trolley in the end wasn't it? I have managed to fit everything I need for Shellac & Minx in to two of these B&Q ones and they're really easy to carry. Just had to cut a few nasty orange labels off first! Xx

Great thread, I love seeing what others use as my case is quite heavy but dose have a strap.

Hi geeks. I'm struggling to find something worthwhile buying in the case department and have everything I need up to nvq level 3 beauty out in my spare room at home. At the moment I just have a small case on wheels that I just put everything I need for the treatments that I'm doing as I'm not really busy as starting out. But when u get busier (hopefully) god knows what I'm going to do then lol :) x

Lila I bought something similar but found I couldn't fit my lamp in! So ended up paying out twice for something. And it was so heavy when full I was scared it would break  so now it's full of all my nail art stuff and glitter. I have so much 'stuff'!!

I just use the large metal carry boxes with handles but can't fit anything in them. These would be perfect for me! Thanks for sharing. Do you know if they still have them? Xxx

Yes! And there are loads of Stanley ones too but they are all yellow and black. These ones are grey & black with orange labels that can be snipped away :)

I think eventually I'll end up with one for l&p as well then it's easier storage at home too. They are very sturdy (designed for tools) and fit into ikea shelving so that's pretty much perfect for me!

The bio lamps are quite thin as I did have a bigger lamp but sold it, I also use a small light but sometimes it's to squashed to fit it all in, when I get busier I think I'd go for one with wheels save my shoulder as they can get heavy!x

This thread is just what I need!!
I need a case which will carry my OPI LED lamp and all my bottles upright!
The roo case looks quite good but I need my LED lamp protected as it can smash at the slightest drop :(!
I currently keep my lamp in its original box and then put it in a shoulder carry case... this hurts my poor shoulders!! x

My roo trolley & backpack.

Trolley fits lamp, my diary & record card folder, all my shellac colours, all my normal polishes (I have about 35-40 odd), all my gels (soak off and non), my nail art stuff, all my mani & pedi solutions and stuff, my tinting, remover wraps & cotton pads etc, my threading stuff, tweezers, samples & solar oil pinkies. I've taken the mini backpack off the front and put all my solutions in ontop securing it to the handle (it has a Velcro thing at the back).

My other backpack has my wax pot and everything I need for waxing (minus a couple of solutions which I also use for threading which are in the other mini one)

If I don't need my wax pot and need towels I will fill the backpack with them and mani bowls etc.

Then I just have my couch in its bag :)

Oh and everything shuts!!!! x
