I used to have trouble with French not wearing well. I watched Hollie's video without improvement. So, I went on a S2 course. I learnt more about layering and was taught to 'sandwich' the white. I now always do a clearly pink 2nd layer and use a variety of pinks depending on the finish the client wants. Always looks perfect & lasts 2 weeks. ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1408379106.252637.jpg

I'm not the most confident with French either, but here's mine, and then the DD French kit xx

Here's one in Wildfire. I actually could never manage using the brush that comes with the bottle (even with regular polish)-I always use a small striping brush, it's easier for me to get right into the corners to make that nice smile line

And a classic one with Cream puff and Grapefruit sparkle image.jpg

Cream puff and beau x

Apply your white thinly, 2 coats then clean your French lines. Makes your French look professional.
Lots of practise.

Here is a French shellac I did a while ago. It was with negligee and studio white. The colours gave it a lovely soft subtle look x

Studio White is more natural looking, and easier to apply than the dreaded Cream Puff!
