Hi i am new here & have been a nail Tech for only a couple of months, been a nail artist for over a year.
I have noticed that my tendon from my index finger and thumb is shortening and my thumb keeps getting cramp, has any one else had this problem and if so is there anything i can do about it.
i dont want to have to give up my profession as i am loving every minute of it:eek:
Please Help
Jen xx

I think you need to go to a Doctor for a proper diagnosis.
If there is a problem with your tendons then you will need to adjust the way you work so that you don't aggravate the problem.

Can I just add...could you please change your font...as even with my glasses on I had to squint to read your post...it is very small print & pink is also hard to see!!!...and if I am having problems it must be a nightmare for our older more infirm geeks ...you know who you are!!!!

Oh and a big welcome to the site:hug:

the most important hands to massage daily are your own ......
flex them often into positions you wouldn't normally .

Play with tennis balls/stress balls while watching the tele.

I still to this day recommend the use of Emu Oil.

Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. We apologise for the inconvenience.
