Hi there - I did silk long ago and I now have completed the bio sculpture gel and sculpting course. I put silk over a very short nail with no free edge to build length. I used free edge gel over the silk and s gel in zone 1 & 2. However I used a form as I did not want it to stick to the skin that had no free edge but hard to get positioned exactly right. Can I apply without a form and if so how do I protect the skin?

Thanks guys.

Just bumping this up - does anyone out there do silk extensions in biosculpture?

Send Zingara a pm as I know she was an expert at doing the silk sculpts with no forms. I never really mastered the art of it with the older style sculpting gel without using the forms and since the new free edge gel I get a better result with that but do have to use the forms.
