im wanting to study further and specialise in treating acne, does anyone know of any courses or work shops?

Was it just acne you wanted to learn about or skin generally? What do you currently do? Are you working in a skin based environment? I am doing a Sally Durant course whilst working on mainly skin clients and teaching a peels and needling course with Dermogenera skincare. It’s not acne specific but it’s extremely thorough. Theirs isn’t the only level 4 available but it’s very good x

whats the Course called? my work now is mainly skin care would love to know more about the skin! so many people come to me with acne and spots xx

I’m doing Skin Science and investigative consultations. They can be added to to make a full level four course of needling and peels.
There are also some excellent books that can help x

Agree that there are some excellent books out there on the topic. The best course/route depends on your type of profession. If you are a nurse, there are courses/conferences that may be of use. Similarly, if you are a beautician background, there are some courses that do certificates after the learning.

I know one person who informed me of an acne treatment course at John Academy. Apparently all online. Can't vouch for quality though as I've never needed this course. In my line of work, I use a lot of scientific papers and if you search the 'Pubmed' site, a LOT of review papers will come up. e.g.: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/?term=acne

As always, if in doubt of a skin condition, send to GP/derm before doing a treatment.

Hope that helps!
