At college we used the Hive and Ellison tints for brows and lashes, but being a CIBTAC qualification, we had to follow their tinting procedure which was to apply half of a damp cotton pad which was covered with vaseline to beneath the eye. So this is what I have always done. Not a great method though and fiddly.

I have now discovered in the bottom of a drawer, some tint protective sheets. How do I apply them? Do I still need to adhere to the skin with vaseline?

What method do you all use please?

I've always had mine done with the damp cotton pad technique too.

I use the Combinal protection pads, which I dampen with water, and then coat with Vaseline. They can be horribly fiddly, but I've found that by cutting into them at the eye edge I can kind of overlap them so that they fit any eye shape. I also put a goodly amount of vaseline around the edge of the pad to ensure that if there's any leakage it doesn't stain the skin.
I do know that you can get these new silicone jobbies which I think the lash extension girlies use. Not used them myself though, and not sure how one would sterilise them.

They are applyed with vaseline the same as cotton wool but ive never got on with them. They usually still have to be cut to fit as most people dont have round eyes :) and they can ping up because they are stiff.
have you seen those reusable silicone pad things either in ellisons or beauty express they look interesing i should think they give a bit of weight when someone has baggy saggy skin and would stay put.
Anyone used them?
