Hi fellow beauty therapists! (Feels good to write that as I'm very new to this wonderful industry)
I'd really welcome advice on effective ranges to use which will, in particular, address maturing skin and facial lifting products. I prefer plant-based and not tested on animals. Also effective lip and eye products....... any advice very gratefully received xx

Talk to the companies that appeal, get samples of products. Go to salons / spa's to receive treatments that use the ranges you like.

I or anyone can recommend a range as being the best thing on the planet, but if *you* don't like it you will never be able to sell it. You need to find a range you can be passionate about.

Many thanks Fozzyo.
Does anyone out there use Liz Earle or Proto-Col?

I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but I use Decleor, which is plant-based, and has lip & eye products, spf's, face & body products/treatments etc etc. However, as Fozzyo says, you need to try a variety of ranges & find one that suits you, and importantly provides good rep back-up & training.

Although mine is a dermalogica salon, I agree with Martin that the best plant based range is decleor.

I agree with you entirely Persianista, and I'm not even slightly biased!!

How much are you looking at to set up your salon with decleor? xxx

I don't know what the current rough opening order is now, and it will differ as the package is designed to suit the individual salon's needs. I think I paid around £6,000, which included one of everything retail wise, all the products for my body & face treatments, a tester stand & testers, training (2 weeks course & ongoing training), samples, brochures, marketting materials, gift vouchers etc etc. I think you can start with quite a lot less than this, but I wanted to start out as I meant to go on, so decided to invest as much as I could afford to.
