Hello,
I currently use Light Elegance buff off gel as my mail gel, and I use and e-file when needed. I recently bought the Dashing Diva gel life which is a soak off gel. This will be my first soak off that I am using. I will mainly use this when the girls come in for dances, weddings, etc and do not want the nails long term, but I know there will be times when I may need to fill the soak off gel. Should I avoid my e-file with the gel life because it is a softer gel compared to the light elegance? Or will the e-file be ok to use?
Also, those of your out there using a soak off gel as your mail gel source. Do you find that the soak off gels are just as durable as the buff off. Do you find that you are just as successful with the soak off compared to a buff off gel.
Thank you and Happy New Year!:)

I meant to say I use LE gel as my "main" gel not my "mail" gel....though I do receive it in the mail :)

I'm not sure about Dashing Diva's gel, but another line of soak off gel I use isn't that soft. File off gel is actually "softer" (not sure that is the right way to describe), but it files off a lot easier than soakable gel. I use my e-file when doing a fill on soakable gel with no problems. But as I said, I'm not familiar with Dashing Diva's brand of soakable gel. Try it on you on one nail and see how it does. That way you will know before using on a client. I find it time saving to have a client soak off while I am doing another client. Saves me time and I don't have to take longer to service the client.

I use LE gel. They do have a soak off gel. However I don't favor any soak off. I don't waste my time or my cleints time trying to soak it off, efiling is much faster.
