Hiya

Stupidy I got a set of L+P done at a salon near to me which is NSS - although I must say it is one of the better ones I have seen/heard about (if possible) as I was desperate for some length before a holiday and cant do my opposite hand with L+P as my smiles look awful!

I would like to soak these off but am wondering what is the best way - I dont want to go back as I hate the thought of the electric file on my nails.....do u think its poss to do myself if I remove the bulk and then soak in a bowl (I'm rubbish at putting foil on my opposite hand)???

Any advice wold be great.

As you are trained in acrylic I don't see why you shouldn't be able to soak your own nails off with out causing any damage.
If you place the bowl of acetone inside a bowl of hot water and cover your hand with a towel this should speed thing up a bit.

Just be careful that your water is not to hot  xx

How do you know they are a non standard salon or using MMA?

I'm glad to see these replies as I thought I must have misunderstood somehow. I was sure you would know how to remove enhancements but thought then the conclusion must be you thought they used mma which kind of led me to Geeg's question.

If you are certain it is a nss salon why go to it rather than find a reputable one?
