Solar Oil or my application?

Firstly, I love Solar Oil! So please don't jump down my throat 🙈

Does anyone find applying the oil over shellac will cause it to chip earlier? I have clients who have been using their oil, but have been saying it's chipping earlier than usual? Rather than them going without and the shellac lasting longer? I know chipping can be caused by a number of things, just wondered what other views were on this? As you'd associate any kind of oil would assist with lifting of polish/shellac etc? Am I not sealing the polish properly? As it's literally 50/50 between all my clients?

Solar oil dosnt affect the wear in that it makes it chip earlier no.the complete opposite,some of my ladies are massive obsessives with nails,and 1 of them forgot to take hers on a staycation,they were dry and brittle when i removed,2 weeks of her using her oil and having reapplication they were perfect again
