solglo solutions

I've just got my spray tanning stuff and i am so excited! Doing my training today and have several willing volunteers for me to practise on.

All the stuff i got was from someone who doesnt want to do it anymore and included was 4 litres of solglo! Now I know everyone has their own opinion of whats the best one but my friend has a sunbed shop and she does spray tanning and was chatting to her last night and she said that she wouldnt use solglo! :cry:

Now i am really unsure about it!

oh and one last thing!!! how the hell do you get the pop up tent down?? lol me and my fella tried for an hour last night and its still up in my back room :lol:

i really dont know anything about solglo as i haven't used it and i dont know anyone who has but for your pop up tent, i would suggest having a look on youtube.com and do a search for videos for spray tan pop up tent. they've got some good videos on there that demonstrate how to put the tent down. every now and again i need to have a wee look to remind me, depending on how tired i am!:lol: xx

Hi I cant really comment as i havn't used solglo yet, think I have a tester pot but not tried it yet. But from experience tanning shops seem to stick to well known brands ie. StTropez. As this kind of speaks for itself. So your best bet is to try it on your friends and you so you can see the colour and how it fades etc for yourself. In the meantime contact lots of other companies like Sienna x Tantrick Fake bake, Celebrety Secrets etc and get testers of those too. It's only you that can decide which you prefer, as you can only sell what you believe in.
As for the tent, I will try to explain but you tube have some demo's that might make it easier.
When its folded flat lie it on the floor wide end at your feet and narrow end against a wall so it wont slide anywhere, lift up the wide end and move forward as if your going to fold it in half, it will curve into a c shape.with a hand either side of the wide end the right side will curl round over the top othe left hand side, this will then fold down on top of the narrow end into a circle. OMG I think i have made that sound even more confusing. Maybe another geek will make it sound less confusing for you hun. Hth anyway. Good luck.Faye.xx

Everyone has their own personal view on what solution or company is best...there must be a reason you have chosen this brand presumably having done research before making a decision.

Presumably you have also already paid for the training so best is to keep going and go through the process fully and after make your own judgement based on your experience with the solution down line when you can change if still not happy.

Maybe everything will work out fine for you.

Like you say everyone has their own opinions my friend uses solglo, I am currently using fake bake she says her customers love sol glo and she wouldn touch fake bake. as for the tent its easy when you have done it a couple of times lots of demo's on you tube.

I started with Solglo as they had a fantastic offer and had won an award. It's ok but doesn't fade very well and their customer service,to me,is not up to scratch. I changed to Sienna shortly after. It was hard to get some of my clients to convert,so some people must like it.
Other Geeks have answered your question on the tent and have given you some good advise on checking it out on u tube.

thanks every one!! been and done my training this afternoon and come home and had a play with the tent - managed to do it this time thanks to your advice and youtube!! lol

i didn't choose solglo but it came with the stuff off my friend - will have a go and see - but thanks for the comments

well i am feeling very proud of myself!! i managed to put tent down on my own in 30 seconds!! hip hip hooray!! lol

oh yeah - not a fan of solglo - to me its got a bit hint of orange!! :-(
