Hi Hun,

I'm cheering you up so be calm...

Everywhere in Glasgow seem to be so so so quiet and I really don't know why. I'm working at the salon in a shopping centre and I used to be so busy before.

What area are you and what kind of service are you providing at this moment?

I find most of my business comes from word of mouth. It depends what treatments you offer, for me it is spray tans and eyelash extensions. Best thing to do is get them on people so others can see your work and let them sell your business for you. Whether this means finding key people who work with people (e.g. hairdressers etc) and offering them discounted or free treatments if they recommend you or just getting your friends done and they can tell people, I find this has always worked well for me.

Hope this helps a little xx

hi honey 5
i know the feeling, its just such hard work. I have managed to get some clients from the hairdresser who works above me, i do all her waxing free, she has had minx at cost price, and now eyelashes, and she has brought in quite a few clients, for both treatments and retail, so thats maybe one way to go? Plus she has had a few facials and raves about them? St Tropez have told me the best thing to do is go to the popular girlie shops and offer discounted treatments, ie. £15 / tan for staff, plus free for manager if she brings in so many members of staff, am going to try this approach and see what happens....Will let u know! I will try anything....
It is hard but its worth it!!
Best of luck xxxx
