Sore scalp help!

I have such a sore scalp however when you look at it there are no visible signs of redness, inflammation etc. I’ve washed it with medicated shampoo however it is still so sensitive, it hurts so much to even run a brush through it. I can’t have it up and it hurts to have it down but being in the beauty industry I need it up :/

Do you know what's caused the sensitivity?
Have you recently had a chemical service, changed your shampoo, used new styling products?
Is there a particular reason for using a medicated shampoo?
Probably best to rinse in luke warm water for now and leave off using any shampoo etc. for a few days to give it time to calm down and heal.

No no idea, used medicated shampoo as I usually have psoriasis on the base of my scalp/ top of my neck but it’s completely different to that
