Sorry another tanning ?

Hi, I have been looking at the Tanning Machines, I need somthing which will also beable to do Airbrush Body Art, and have found this one which will be great for both as two people would be able to use it at the same time while doing the body art/ temp tattoos. ( I have also used one before)

However with the tanning training would it make much diffrents being trained on one machine and then going home and useing a diffrent machine and gun? I plan to do the tantrick if this makes any diffrents?
Also dose any one eles use this machine?

Iwata is a good machine with a 12 month warranty on the machine and a 10 yr guarantee on the gun...must be good .

In so far as training with Tantrick and going off using this machine..absolutley no problem whatsoever...we train and certify on the use of HVLP machines and technique ..therefore it doesnt matter which HVLP machine or solution is being used.

Thank you for the quick reply, I am planning on doing the tantrick training and useing the tantrick solutions. It was more about the machine really, so thats great, I think this is the one I going to get then.

I do spray tanning and i also do airbrush tattoos but i have 2 different systems. I do my tanning using a spray tan booth which has a manual gun. I use a bambi compressor for the spray tattoos. You can get cheaper ones but i bought this one as it is very quiet.Obviously because i have a spray booth i couldn't use this for the tattoos so i bought another one but if i hadnt had the booth i would still have 2 seperate pieces of equipment purely because i am salon based and it's easier.
I have a 6 branch mainfold on mine and i use all of them and still have to swap them around as i have more than 6 colours. You could use a system like this but you would have to have one paasche that you use solely for tanning as you might get some of the ink coming through when you are tanning. I would just find it easier to use 2 rather than fiddling around changing the paasche and cleaning them out but as i said i am salon based. When i bought my salon there was an iwata compressor left by the previous owner but i sold it as it only had one feed.
It all depends on how busy you are going to be.

Hi, angelina221, I never really thought about the ink coming through when you are tanning, I am going to be home based mostly, but with the spray tattoos its going to be mobile and wanted to try and keep cost down, also maybe have some one come and help, I can get a 6 way AIRBRUSH HOSE SPLITTER to attach and use. I will be useing diffrent air brushes and bottles for the tanning and tattoos.

may be will get both, I am just looking round and finding out about whats out there really.
Planning to be up and running by Sept this year.
With the spray tattoos it will be used every other week for about 30-40 kids and adults in one afternoon, its family lunch events thats going to run for about 6 months or so, and hopefully I will be able to do christmas partys too.

Thanks for the help and info. Do you do many airbrush tattoos or do you find its more of a party events type thing?

Obviously if you are going mobile then you will need a compressor that is not too heavy! I would just buy a spare paasche and bottle that you can use for spray tanning and then you will see be able to use 6 colours for your tattoos. It would probably be easier to have 2 separate ones as you wont have to keep packing them up and into the car and setting up etc......
You will have your compressor at home for spray tanning that will be there all the time and the other one could be kept in the car for your tattoo parties. If you are limited for cash to start with then just try using the one but if you have the cash then it would make life much easier for you to have 2 seperate ones.

I had the same dilemma when I looked at doing spray tanning. I already had an Iwata airbrush and compressor and wondered if I could use it for spray tanning. In the end I decided to get an HVLP machine and use that for the tanning and the airbrush for the temp tattoos.

Yeah I think I am going to be better off getting 2 seperate ones. Will keep looking. Do you do many temp tattoos?

The temp tattoos (alongside glitter tattoos) I do are mostly corporate events (and as companies are cutting back are few and far between at the moment). I did quite a few around prom time last year, although mainly my daughters friends and friends of friends etc. I've never offered them through the salon where I do massage, but have never really thought to, so not sure how it would work out. Fairs and concerts are probably another good place to start.

I was thinking along these lines too, fates and fairs etc, I have a friend who dose face painting too and maybe asking if she would like to do that at the same time. The only thing is being over here in Germany and I don`t speak German, have been trying to learn and picked up a bit, so it would be mostly the camp and schools fates, maybe childrens birthdays ect.
Also who did you train with for the temp tattoos I have been looking at impet2us they seem quite good?
