Hi,

I have a customer wanting the Almond Spa Manicure then acrylic nail enhancements and i wondered do you think I should do the nail enhancements first? Would the paraffin wax affect adhesion if i do it before?

Definitely do the nail enhancements first. All that moisture etc is not a good base on which to adhere enhancements. It is fine to do a manicure after enhancements but personally I would do the treatments on different days rather than together. Reason being that with Solar Oil etc and the mini manicure done for prep, there will be no need to do more on the same day as the full set. Maybe just a nice massage to finish off with some of the gorgeous Almond SoothingCream.

Thanks Gigi I'll maybe do a mini almond manicure then after ive done her enhancements was a bit worried about asking her for the full price for both treatments aswell. If I do the enhancements then do exfoliation and massage and lotion avoiding the nails if i can then finish with the polish (she wants then polished in a colour) and top coat and solar oil to finish and maybe charge her just £10 on top of the acrylics?

Well if it were ME I would suggest a manicure after 2 weeks (something for the client to look forward to) and include a buff and tidy and charge full price for it. If you do the work then it should be charged at full price ... a manicure is not needed right after a full set. Get the 2 treatments in.
