Hi

I was going to do an offer for all clients on my Facebook page and was thinking book one treatment and get another of the same treatment free so that way they can bring along a friend who is maybe new to the salon or else just treat themselves. What do you think? What other things do all of you do for your Facebook page?

I put my monthly offers up, create events etc is there anything else to attract new clients?

I dont think I'd offer a free treatment for them just bringing it one client, maye recommend 4 or 5 (I do 5) & they will get a free treatment. Not really having much success with my FB group tbh keep trying to get folks to add their friends but nadda! lol hope you have more sucess :D xx

I agree with Sarah, I wouldnt offer a complete free treatment, I doubt you would find many if any give their 2nd free treatment to a friend.
How about something like book 1 treatment get the same half price

I have done offers like - Book a facial & get a free Indian Head Massage(done whilst the mask is on)/ or mani/pedi revarnish/ or eyelash tint.

If you want to get new clients, how about a "refere a friend" offer?

I am not sure what offers you can do on your facebook page to get new clients,....
How about emailing all members the special offer asking them to forward to their friends?

Hope that helps x:hug:x

I think a lot depends on how you do the free treatment & word it. I do loads of freebies via my facebook page & gets loads of new & paying clients from it.

I only started my page at the end of November but am nearly on 1000 fans already.

A few geeks are fans so know the kind of stuff I do to generate business but for those who haven't seen it yet, you can have a gander here: Log in | Facebook

ps: my bf is in the throws of 'jazzing up' my daily offers page so should get more business when it looks a bit smarter. My newsletter is also working quite well.

I'm offering DD to my facebook friends for £10.00 until end of July. I will still be making money even charging that low a price and hopefully they will either rebook or book another treatment.

I have a group for the business, they get a monthly email with a different offer each month.

It's always very popular, and well worth doing!

Hi, rather than giving just a free treatment it might be a good idea to be specify that the free treatment is for a friend, otherwise you may get quite a lot of your regular clients booking and paying now and then they will all want their free treatments in a few weeks which will impact the revenue you bring in. If you do more like a "treat your friend with 2 treatments for the price of one" offer this will ensure the free treatment brings in prospective new regular clients so will be more worthwhile if you are trying to increase you client base.

Hope this helps, good luck with your promotion!
