Hi - Have completed a 2 day course in Gel overlays/tip extensions. I need to find a sound product to start some serious practise!! Before I go and pay out any more can anyone recommend a quality brand that they find works well? Any comments greatly appreciated. Sarah

best to work with the product you were trained with really.

hey ya, what products did you use in your training???

Good advice ladies

Always go with what you have been trained in untill you get to grips with your product. Then by all means then look to do more cpd with other products and companys

Hi

I trained in Millenium - but they have a limited colour range. The salon I used to use swore by BioSculpture but to use their products means more training costs.

To use any good products would mean more training costs... Each product is different, and you shouldn't use them without first training with them.

Hi there, some of the professional brands offer free gel conversion where you pay for the kit and the conversion course is free, or others offer conversions at a reasonable price including a kit. Maybe check out NSI/EZFlow/CND, sorry I don't have any of the brands' contact details to hand, maybe another geek reading this can post them?? hth

Thanks so much again for the advice. Am really impressed with this site and obviously the help support given here. Most people seem to have so much knowledge and keen to share info - brill!

Yes, you should look to more training with the gel and company you choose. But you've obviously got the basics from the 2 day course you've taken so approach the companies you have in mind and purchase the sample kits - if available.
This can be a great introduction to a new product, not only to compare the quality of product but also the cost.
Feel free to pm me and Id be happy to give you more information on our system
Kindest Regards
