Hi All,

What a brilliant site! I need some help!!!

OK, I had my training with spray tanning but was never taught to use a Barrier Cream. Do you use this on the hands and soles of feet? Which Barrier Cream do you use?

Also...I may be sounding thick now...but what do you cover when you are advertising 'half a body' for the spray tanning??

I use barrier cream on nails. Never need it for anywhere else, i use sticky feel so tan doesn't get on feet. I just got mine from the wholesalers, it was next to the hair stuff. But i think Vaseline does the same thing

For a half body i either do top half or bottom half. Some times i do face arms chest and feet as a 'half body'! x

I always use barrier cream its a must especially on palms of the hand i never give it to clients to do themselves as i like to make sure the job is done properley i apply to the whole of the hand like a hand cream as you will find the hands and feet take more than the rest of the body i sometimes use sticky feet but prefere to rub barrier cream into the soles of the feet and on top and get the client to stand in the tent on a dark towel, after the tan i always wipe the palms of the hand and soles of feet with a baby wipe to make sure theres no staining there. half body usually consists of either arms sholderes face and neck maybe down to the bust area or legs. to be honest i dont do many of these as you look pretty odd half white half bronzed!!

thank you so much. Which wholesaler did you use for the sticky feet?

Jemma xx

Thanks for your reply, that's great. When you say about the barrier cream on the hands, do you use the cream on just the palms or over the top of the hands too? and inbetween the fingers?
Thanks xx:eek:

Yeah i use it all over make sure you rub it in well though put abit extra on the palms .... think they sell sticky feet at alan howards if theres one near you but i bet youll find your ok without them if you put the cream on enough just make sure you wipe soles with babywipe after tan and pat dry the foot with some paper towel dont want anyone skidding!! are you mobile?what tan do you use? does your company not sell the sticky feet?

I dont use any barrier cream Imo i dont think it makes a difference as long as people exfoliate through-out their body.
When i do half body client can either have from face to hips or from hips to foot x :hug:Hths

I use a barrier cream on the feet and hands as an extra precaution, I use creatives scensations and often end up retailing scensations as a result!! See there i method in my madness!!
