Spray tan client gone green!!!

Evening all, am after some help please! I sprayed a client today and she has just text me to say her back is green! Should I get her to wash it off now, even though it's only about 4 hours after her getting it done?
I used Xen-tan and it's a new bottle, 1st time opening it today. It's also 1st order from them as I'd just used their samples and ordered from them so I'm not sure if it's always green on some clients?
I'm stressing out as I've not long started spray tans and don't want to get a bad reputation!
I told her it should be ok after it's washed off in the morning, but should I ring her and tell her different?

oh no, nightmare. i would ask her if she has any sort of moisturiser on at all. deodrants and body sprays can some times go green under arms and wash off okay XxX

I would think that she has some traces of product such as moisturiser, shampoo etc. on her back. The green is just the reaction of the bronzer with the alcohol in the product, I'm pretty sure it won't affect the tan outcome (her back may turn out a little paler perhaps, if this 'product' has left a barrier?). I would advise her to wash off as normal tomorrow and to take more care with her prep next time.

She will have come out of the shower without rinsing all products thoroughly off, e.g. conditioner washed from the hair but left dripping down her back.

It won't be green when she washes the guide colour off, but as loubilicious has said - could be a little paler.

Next time tell her to really thoroughly rinse off shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc.

I remember when I first started tanning, I turned up for the appointment sprayed the lady quite an older lady who was pleased as punch but once I had finished I noticed she had gone a nice shade of green....... I was mortified.

Went home to my husband in a blind panic saying omg I think Ive just made a huge cock up and sprayed my client and she now looks like the incredible hulk. I never slept a wink all night and next morning had to go back and see how she had turned out.

she was an absolute gorgeous colour and she loved it much to my relief lol

It was so scary to have my back turn green after tanning. But I think it is not dangerous to the skin it will only need some washing

Hey though I'd give you guys an update, she text me yesterday morning to say she'd showered it off and that it looks fab, then today she text me again to say how everyone was commenting on how gorgeous and natural it looked so I'm well pleased!
