Hello there - Im looking to get a spray tan extractor. Ive seen ones for sale that need replacement filters after about 60 spray tans or ones which have washable filters. Does anyone have any advise to give with regards to either of these. just worried that having to replace the filters would be more expensive. Has anyone got an extractor fan and washes the filters. Thanks for reading

Hi,

I would go for washable filters. They can be difficult to clean if you are using an oil based solution. If you go for replacement filters you are going to need 1 a week or so.

The only true full extraction is provided by the booth type extractors which are £1000 plus. The smaller floor standing units are OK but cannot really change the air fast enough to give full extraction.

If you have a lot of overspray you may want to consider a different solution. Aviva Labs solutions are renowned for producing virtually no overspray, ie you should not be able to see it when you are spraying as this would mean you have you gun set incorrectly.
