Hi
I have my own beauty room at the bottom of my garden, however am keen to start spray tan parties in people's houses. My only concern is overspray!
I tend to do 1 spray tan aday in my room and clean it down, but there is still quite a bit of overspray. After all it is airborn when spraying and suppose it has to go somewhere. I do not have the gun wide open, and use very little solution when I spray (I tend to get more out of the bottle than advertised and still manage a great even tan and get rave reports)!
Does an extractor fan (as I don't have one) make a huge difference? As very nervous about going round people's houses and leaving overspray on their curtains/furniture and flooring!

Hi!
Do you have a pop-up tanning tent? This would help prevent any overspray from going on the cliens walls/floors etc, an extracter will also be a massive help. With these 2 items i can't see why overspray would be a problem when working mobile.

Hi sorry - yes I do have a pop up tent, I guess my question is does the extractor fan make a huge difference? If so then I will invest in one.

Everything in my beauty room can be wiped down, where as someones house might not be - so just a little nervous!

Hi
If you regulate your spray tan gun to a sensibly you should get little or no overspray.XX

Hi, it is on very low - probably minimal, but I guess there will always be overspray. Think I will invest in an extractor fan and see if it makes a difference. The room is worse when my hubbie sprays me as I think he opens the gun right up - it takes me ages to dry once he has sprayed me!!!
Thanks

The extractor does actually make a big difference, we recently invested in one for the salon and it is definatly a powerful little thing!
Just make sure you clean the filter regularly with warm water otherwise its performance is compromised, you will be shocked at how much tan it sucks up!
xx

Seems like the answer! I can well believe how much tan they gather - I clean the filter on my Maxi Mist after every use and am always surprised!! However not so much in it today so maybe my spraying is improving!!
Will have to pinch the other halfs credit card and order the extractor fan then!
