Hi,

where would be the best place to have a patch test?
I've got a lady who's daughter is having a spray tan for a wedding but has got sensitive skin.
She is worried because she works in a doctors surgery and one day a woman came in with anaphalactic shock from a spray tan. Yikes

i was taught just behind the ear or in the crook of the elbow under a plaster, hth

Simply dab a Q tip in the solution you are using and dab it behind your customers ear..preferably 24hrs in advance of the spray tan application.

Thanks for your help

I do any patch tests behind the ear or in the fold of the elbow,if the client intends washing their hair or showering it is alway best to do in fold of the elbow and tell her/him to ensure they dont wash it off.

Small amount on the inner arm (at elbow) and/or behind the knee. If anyone is going to have an allergic reaction to a spray tan it will happen quite quickly (within half an hour or so).
